What is ACTIVATE?

ACTIVATE is a junior high youth ministry program in which 7th and 8th graders are inspired, encouraged, and equipped to become intentional disciples of Jesus Christ through fellowship, dialogic teaching, discussion, adult mentoring, activities, and prayer. The program offers young people the opportunity to be authentic witnesses to God's love and truth in the world.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. [...] All these are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses" (1 Cor. 12:4-6,11, NRSVCE).

ACTIVATE meets from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights in the John Paul II Youth Center by the OLMC Sports Field. Doors open at 6:45 for music, games, fellowship, pizza service, and complimentary snacks!
